Sticks are ubiquitous. We see hundreds of them every day. We step on them. We pick them up. We throw them out . We accept them as a constant part of nature's cycle of death and renewal. But we don't often give them much thought. Our eyes pass over them in search of things less insignificant and more beautiful. So this week I decided to celebrate sticks. I'll admit my definition of "stick" may be a little loose but I do hope you enjoy these images.
