1. Teeny, tiny yard weed. Taken using extension tubes with the flowers on my knee.

2. This spider is Leucage venusta, commonly known as an Orchard Orb Weaver. It is very small, no more than 1/2 inch in length.

3. The Mexican Sunflowers are almost gone now but a few blooms remain.

4. A fading bloom.

5. This little one was busy eating bird seed off the ground and not about to budge when I approached. He just stared at me.

6. Anhinga in a tree. Look at those huge webbed feet.

7. This spider is Leucage argyra, another type of long-jawed orb weaver. It it also very tiny. I could not find where any common name has been attached to this type.

8. Growing in the wetland at Mead Gardens. That square in the center fascinates me.

9. My first photo of a Cloudless Sulphur butterfly. The wings were always closed when it landed so I wasn't able to get a shot of the opened wings.

10. A Leaf in Hand. (One thing to do when at the park waiting for the dog to finish drinking his water.)

11. Cloud Reflections I

12. Cloud Reflections II

13. Lizard on a Cypress knee. At first glance, I thought it was part of the knee.

14. Leaves in the water. I did play with this one.

15. Pied-billed Grebe on Lake Mead.
I took tons of pictures this week. Here are some of them. I hope you enjoy them!
